About Susanna

I help people change their relationship with food and their body — with a particular focus on women navigating peri-menopause, menopause and the changes of midlife.

Many of the people I work with already know a great deal about healthy eating. Their challenge isn’t simply knowing what to eat. It’s the cravings, emotional eating, all-or-nothing thinking, stress, loss of trust in their body, or the feeling that what used to work no longer works.

My work is centred on one core principle:

Real transformation happens when your body feels safe.

Rather than relying on more willpower, restriction or another diet, I help you understand what is happening underneath your food choices and learn to work with your biology, psychology and body.

Where can you start?
Food Freedom Challenge
A powerful starting point if you are tired of diets and want to understand why you eat. We explore food psychology, cravings, emotional eating, hunger, habits and the internal dialogue that influences your choices — before focusing on changing the food itself.

Wilderbody
For those ready to go further, the full WILDFIT journey builds on that psychological foundation and introduces a progressive exploration of nutrition, metabolic flexibility and the body’s natural rhythms. The aim is not simply to follow a programme, but to develop the knowledge and body awareness that can support lasting food freedom.

Back to Spring
For WILDFIT alumni who know what to do but would benefit from some structure, community and accountability to reconnect with their WILDFIT lifestyle. I facilitate guided Back-to-Spring groups to help you reset, revisit the principles and discover what your body needs now.

My approach to coaching
My role isn’t to police your food choices. I help you become curious about them.

Alongside WILDFIT principles, my coaching draws on nervous-system regulation, awareness practices, breathwork and the psychology of behaviour change. We explore not only what you are eating, but what you may really be needing in the moments when food feels difficult.

This can be particularly valuable if you recognise patterns such as emotional eating, stress eating, people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-sabotage or repeatedly moving between being “good” and losing control.

Progress doesn’t require perfection. It grows through awareness, experimentation, support and learning to trust yourself again.

When you want to go deeper
For some people, changing their relationship with food opens the door to deeper work.

Alongside my WILDFIT group programmes, I offer individual transformational coaching and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), a hypnotherapy-based approach that can help us explore underlying beliefs, emotional patterns and learned responses that may be keeping you stuck.

I am also a certified FLAG (Fast Like a Girl) Coach and can help clients explore how appropriate fasting practices may fit into a broader, sustainable lifestyle.

Originally from South Africa, I have lived in the Netherlands for more than 20 years and work primarily in English, as well as Dutch. I particularly enjoy working with people navigating periods of transition — whether that is midlife, menopause, moving countries, changing careers, or simply reaching the point where the old way of doing things no longer feels right.
